Beijing: Over 270 passengers, including four foreigners, were injured after two metro trains today collided in Shanghai, China`s largest metropolis, due to signal failure, two months after a deadly bullet train crash claimed 40 lives.

So far, a total of 271 people have received treatment in hospitals, said Xu Jianguang, director of Shanghai`s health bureau told reporters in the eastern Chinese metropolis.
