Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla-starrer Jolly LLB, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, emerged as a successful movie in 2013. Following the success, the makers came up with its sequel, Jolly LLB 2. However, Akshay Kumar replaced Arshad as the lead. While Saurabh Shukla reprised his role in the sequel, Huma Qureshi and Anu Kapoor were seen in pivotal roles.

Both the instalments of Jolly LLB were courtroom black comedy dramas focusing on different social issues. And now, the makers are reportedly all set for the third instalment, Jolly LLB 3.

To everyone’s excitement, Akshay and Arshad will be seen together in Jolly LLB 3.

Recently, during an interview with Hindustan Times, Arshad confirmed the development and also revealed the tentative plans of going on floors.

Arshad was quoted as saying, “We start shooting in January. It is one of those films that tell you the truth of how things run in the world, good versus bad.”

When asked why he was not seen in Jolly LLB 2, Arshad said, “I have no idea.”

Further, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor replied, “I have a feeling the makers wanted to upscale the film. I remember I told Subhash (Kapoor, director) also ‘You should do it with Akshay. If you want to show crowd in a courtroom, with me it will be 500, with Akshay you will get 5000’ Somewhere, the production people realised ‘let’s get a bigger star’... People liked to see me, so I am back. People will enjoy seeing me and Akshay.”

Arshad Warsi, who is riding on the success of Asur 2, will certainly bring back the magic that highly impressed the audience. And watching Arshad and Akshay together in the courtroom would double the excitement.

A few days back during another interview, Arshad opened up about being replaced by Salman Khan as the host of Bigg Boss, and by Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 2.

Arshad was quoted as saying “As for Bigg Boss, I could not do the next season as I had gone to London for a shoot. But I do believe Salman Khan is the best host the show could have. No one could have done that job better than Salman. The reality show needs a ‘Dabangg’ like Salman.”
