Odisha's Father-Daughter Duo Dives Into Sunken Hercules C-130 In Red Sea - See Pics

Odisha's Priyadarshee Panigrahi and his 13-year-old daughter Tisya Panigrahi explored an underwater plane called the Hercules C-130 in the Red Sea, near Aqaba, Jordan.

The Hercules C-130 is a large military transport plane used by over 70 countries since the 1950s. This one was given by the Royal Jordanian Air Force and sunk in 2017 to create an artificial reef.

The plane, which is about 30 meters long and has a wingspan of 40 meters, is now home to many marine creatures like fish and corals.

Tisya and Priyadarshee entered the plane through its middle section and even spent time in the cockpit.

They took some pictures before diving, with Tisya posing in her scuba gear and smiling.

The underwater scene, 55 feet deep in the Red Sea, was breathtaking, with colourful fish swimming around the plane.

Both father and daughter explored the plane's parts, and Tisya even tried out some of the equipment underwater.

Priyadarshee described the experience as surreal, seeing such a big plane underwater full of marine life.

Tisya found it unique and memorable, especially exploring the inside of the plane and handling its controls.
