6 Yoga Poses To Control Acne

Sarvangasana: Also known as the shoulder stand, this pose calms down your mind and body while improving blood circulation. To do this lie down on your back and slowly lift your legs towards the sky until your chest is closer to your chin.

Matsyasana: Otherwise known as fish pose, this asana controls acne by healing stress or emotional imbalances. To practice this, lay down on your back and push your chest and face upwards by resting the crown of your head on the floor.

Halasana: Halasana or plough pose treats constipation and improves blood circulation thus controlling acne. To do this pose, start from the Sarvangasana by bringing your legs towards your head slowly, resting on your toes while supporting with your stretched arms on the floor.

Bhujangasana: Also known as the Cobra pose, this asana mimics the pose of a cobra and helps detoxify your body healing acne. To practice this, lay flat on your stomach, rest palms under your shoulders and slowly raise your face, and chest while looking upward.

Chakrasana: Also known as Urdhva Dhanurasana, this pose is great for spinal flexibility improving blood circulation in the head and face region, thus healing acne. To perform this stand straight and slowly bend your chest and abdomen towards your back until you are in a U shape and rest your palm on the floor.

Padmasana: Padmasana or Lotus position is done while performing Pranayam. Sitting cross-legged while doing meditation or controlling breathing is related to improving digestion and removing toxins from the body, thus healing acne better.
