Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev recently attended OTV's annual convention 'Foresight 2024'.
During the event, Baba Ramdev shared valuable tips on using yoga to quickly alleviate cold during the winter season.
Begin with 'Chakra Dandasana' to combat winter cold. Place hands on the floor, rotate the right leg if the left hand is below, and vice versa.
Try 'Hanuman Dand' for flexibility. Slide one leg back into a split, square the hips, and lengthen the spine, keeping hands on the mat for support.
Incorporate 'Kapalbhati,' a yogic breathing exercise, for respiratory cleansing, improved digestion, and mental alertness.
Sit comfortably with a straight spine, inhale deeply, and exhale forcefully through the nose by contracting abdominal muscles.
Rhythmic exhalations for about 20-30 breaths are recommended, gradually increasing the intensity.
Conclude the practice with a deep breath for overall well-being.
Explore 'Anulom Vilom' for balanced and rhythmic breathing. Sit comfortably, use the right thumb to alternate closing nostrils, inhale through one nostril, exhale through the other, and repeat.
This breathing exercise aids in respiratory health and promotes mental clarity.
Follow these simple yet effective yoga techniques to alleviate winter cold and enhance overall wellness, as recommended by Baba Ramdev.
