Prepare Paneer Tikka at Home: Here’s Recipe

Paneer Tikka is one of the tastiest finger foods. This dish never fails to mesmerise with its spicy tandoori flavour. So all the paneer lovers out there, here is the yummy, flavourful paneer dish that you can easily make at home for you!

For Marinade: Curd - 400 Gms; Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp; Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp; Pepper -1/2 Tsp; Salt - 1 Tsp; Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 Tsp; Cumin Powder - 1 1/2 Tsp; Garam Masala - 1 Tsp; Chaat Masala - 1 Tsp; Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 Tsp; Juice of 1 lemon; Kasuri Methi - 1 Tsp; Besan Flour - 2 Tsp

For Paneer Tikka: ½ cup green capsicum, cut in cubes; ½ cup onions, cut in quarters ; ½ cup red bell peppers, cut in cubes ; 350 gms Paneer, cut in cubes

Method: To a bowl, add curd, turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, kasuri methi and mix well. Add gram flour, corn flour and mix again.

To the marinate mixture add the paneer cubes, onions and bell peppers and mix well so that it coats all the veggies perfectly.

Let it all sit for 3 hours. After 3 hours, skewer the paneer, onion and bell pepper wedges using skewer sticks.

Grease the grill pan with some oil and place the skewer sticks on it. Close the grill pan for 2 min and grill. Rotate the sticks to another side and repeat the process.

Transfer to a plate. Sprinkle some chaat masala powder over the tikka and serve it with some onion slices and mint chutney.
