FM Highlights 4 Pillars Of Policy Plans for Budget 2024
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government has allocated a substantial 3 lakh crore budget towards Initiatives focused on women and girls.
These initiatives are designed to promote women-centric development and enhance their participation in the workforce.
At the beginning of her budget speech, the Finance Minister announced that this year's budget focuses on the poor, women, youth, and farmers.
Thus, women are one of the four major pillars in the budget policy plans.
To ensure that more women participate in the workforce, the government will tie up with various industries to set up working women hostels as well as crèche-facilities.
Furthermore, the government shall partner with firms to Initiate specialized skill programs for women and promote easy access to the market for women-led enterprises.
FM Sitharaman said, "The government is committed to all-round, all-pervasive and all-Inclusive development of people, particularly farmers, youth, women and the poor."
She emphasized that this significant budgetary allocation highlights the government's solid commitment to elevating women's roles in economic development In this country.
