The Book Thief (2013): Inspired by the novel of Markus Zusak, it’s the story of a girl who fell in love with reading by stealing books. Surviving World War alone and aiding a Jewish friend, the girl comes to lose everyone but the Jewish friend.

All Quiet on the Western Front (2022): This World War I movie is based on the book written by Erich Maria Remarque that won 4 Oscars. The movie is about the harrowing war experience of a young man and the fall of his patriotism and beliefs about war.
