Kick Drills: Here, you hold a kickboard in front of your body at shoulder length. Then you flutter a kick across the pool with your foot at 90 degrees. It gives greater propulsion with better results.
Water Running: Also called aqua jogging, here you run in the water as you would run outdoors. It brings the effects of high-intensity cardio without the hurtful impact of hitting a hard surface.
Water Crunches: In this fun exercise, you use the pool deck to do the exercise with your upper body in the water and lower body on the deck.
Freestyle Swimming: Here you use your arms alternatively to swim and breathe to the side and flutter kicks with your legs. This exercise targets shoulders, arms, and back.
Aerobic Workout: In this exercise, you alternatively do a routine of 1 or 2-minute fast walking, slow walking, and high knee, and repeat the process.
Shallow Tarbata Workout: This exercise can be done in waist-deep water by doing jacks, squat jumps, and kicks in the water.
Pool Plank: Here, you use the pool floor or edge in a chest of deep water while keeping your body straight to complete the exercise. This exercise targets the core and shoulders.
