Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (2019): Telling a hearty story of a closeted lesbian and her attempts to deal with her conservative and traditional family, the movie is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and stars Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao in the lead.
Dedh Ishqiya (2014): Abhishek Chaubey directed this comedy thriller romance movie that showcases the romantic relationship between Huma Qureshi and Madhuri Dixit’s characters.
Bombay Talkies (2013): Karan Johar’s part of the movie tells the story of a Trans romance where Randeep Hooda and Saqib Saleem’s characters develop feelings for each other.

Fire (1996): Directed by Deepa Mehta, the movie follows two women, portrayed by Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das who are abandoned by their husbands and how they find solace in each other.
