8 pics from Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram's magical Meitei wedding

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram tied the knot in the picturesque Imphal, Manipur, setting the stage for a mesmerizing celebration.

Lin donned the traditional Manipuri bridal attire inspired by the Radha-Krishna dance, Rasleela, featuring the iconic Potloi—a drum-like skirt intricately hand-embroidered and significant in religious contexts.

Lin's maroon Potloi, a cylindrical skirt made of durable fabric and bamboo, was adorned with ornate laces, worn an hour before the ceremony, complemented by a resham fruit-embroidered black blouse.

Lin completed her look with a translucent ivory tulle veil, adding an ethereal touch to her bridal ensemble.

Lin's bridal jewelry included a Likhom necklace, Maatha Patti headgear, Kajenglei headdress crown, gold danglers, and glitzy bangles, radiating simplicity and tradition.

Randeep opted for simplicity in a white kurta and dhoti, paired with a yellow koyet headgear and a plain white shawl symbolizing the purity of marriage.

Both wore chandan tilaks drawn from forehead to nose, following Vaishnavite tradition rooted in the worship of Lord Vishnu, symbolizing cultural significance.

The couple joyfully exchanged meticulously crafted garlands in the Leilenga ritual, where the bride personally wove two garlands using the local Kundo flower, symbolizing prayers for a blissful married life.
