The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) has announced the 2024 rankings of top universities in India.

These rankings are determined by 7 key performance indicators that emphasise India's socio-economic and industrial diversity, including placement performance and teaching quality and more.

At number 10, the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) in Ajmer, Rajasthan, stands out for its dedication to academic excellence.

Ranked 9th, the Central University of Punjab (CUP) focuses on pioneering research and innovative teaching methods.

Coming in at 8th place is Pondicherry University, located in Kalapet near Puducherry, renowned for its interdisciplinary research studies.
