In the prestigious UPSC exam in India, many people try but do not succeed.
However, some like Ananya Singh manage to crack it in their first attempt.
Ananya Singh, hailing from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, excelled in her academics, scoring 96% in her class 10 board exams and 98.25% in class 12, making her a top performer in her district.
She pursued her bachelor's degree in economics from Delhi University's Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Inspired by her childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer, she prepared for the UPSC exam after graduation and successfully cracked it in 2019 on her first try, securing AIR 51 at the age of 22.
In interviews, Ananya Singh revealed that she achieved this feat with just one year of self-study, dedicating 7-8 hours daily, which she later reduced to six hours.
Presently, she serves in the West Bengal cadre as an IAS officer.
