Starting today, the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) has directed Paytm Payments Bank to discontinue certain services. Here's a summary of the changes:
You can no longer deposit money into your Paytm Payments Bank account, but you can still withdraw or transfer funds.
Salary credits and direct benefit transfers to Paytm Payments Bank accounts will stop, but you will still receive refunds and cashbacks.
Topping up your Paytm wallet or transferring funds from it is no longer possible.
Recharging your FASTag issued by Paytm bank is not available anymore.
Transferring funds into Paytm Payments Bank accounts via UPI or IMPS is also no longer supported.
However, the Paytm app itself will remain operational beyond today.
You can still use UPI services through the Paytm app if it is linked to another bank.
