The Incident Caught on Camera

While performing his popular track Sexy Bitch, Akon stepped toward the barricades to greet fans in the VIP section. But instead of handshakes or cheers, some in the crowd were seen tugging at his pants, forcing him to adjust them repeatedly as he tried to continue singing. Though visibly uncomfortable, the singer maintained his composure and did not interrupt the show, a move widely praised by his supporters.

Many pointed out that the incident overshadowed the entire event. A widely shared post read, “70% of the Akon concert in Bangalore was him screaming ‘yeah’ and ‘hell yeah’ and his pants getting pulled.” Others criticised the crowd’s lack of basic concert etiquette, saying it embarrassed both the city and its music culture.

India Tour Continues Despite Controversy

The Bengaluru show came between Akon’s Delhi performance on November 9 and his upcoming Mumbai concert on November 16. While the music thrilled fans, this unexpected controversy has taken centre stage for all the wrong reasons.
