In a shocking case, a married couple, husband and wife from Telangana, was arrested on the charges of running a s*x blackmail racket, for trapping and extorting money from more than 100 men over the past three years.

Husband Recorded Video

 According to police officials, the wife used social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube to lure unsuspecting men by initiating friendly conversations and promising intimate encounters. Once trust was built, the victims were invited to the couple’s residence. She then slept with them, during which her husband secretly recorded objectionable videos secretly without the victims’ knowledge.

 The couple then used the recorded footage to blackmail the men, threatening to leak the videos to their families and social circles unless large sums of money were paid. Investigators said the accused extorted crores of rupees using this method and lived lavishly off the proceeds. From the illegally obtained money, they reportedly purchased a plot of land worth Rs 65 lakh and a car valued at around Rs 10 lakh.

Businessman Approaches Police

 The racket came to light after a truck businessman approached the police with a complaint. The victim claimed he had already paid Rs 13 lakh to the couple while he was being pressured to pay an additional Rs 5 lakh.

 The situation escalated when the accused allegedly threatened him with murder and warned of releasing the videos if he failed to comply.

 Acting on the complaint, police launched an investigation and arrested the couple. During searches, officials seized mobile phones, explicit video recordings, cash and cheque documents linked to the extortion racket. Preliminary findings suggest that more than 100 men may have fallen victim to the scheme.
