Cute couple’s kiss steals show during India–South Africa 2nd T20I, video goes viral

In an otherwise disappointing night for Team India, a heart-warming moment in the stands became the unexpected highlight of the second T20 International between India and South Africa in Mullanpur. 

While India suffered a 51-run defeat, a young couple in the audience captured the internet’s attention after a sweet gesture between them went viral across social media.

The incident unfolded when the stadium camera panned across the crowd and focused on the couple, displaying them on the giant screen. Caught by surprise but smiling ear to ear, the duo acknowledged the moment.

As the girl blushed, the boy leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on her cheek, drawing loud cheers from spectators around them. Encouraged by the applause, he gave her another affectionate peck, leaving her even more flustered and prompting a collective ‘aww’ moment inside the stadium.

Within minutes, the clip made its way onto social platforms, where users showered the young pair with love and playful comments. Many fans said that even though India lost the match, the ‘kiss cam moment’ became the most memorable highlight of the evening.

On the field, South Africa delivered a dominant performance, posting a formidable 213/4 after a blazing 90 off 47 balls from Quinton de Kock. India, in reply, faltered early and never recovered, eventually being bowled out for 162 in 19.1 overs. The defeat allowed South Africa to level the five-match series at 1–1.
