The Bhubaneswar centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that though Odisha is likely to experience dry weather in the next five days, there are chances of rainfall thereafter.

As per the latest forecast by the MeT Centre, a low pressure area is likely to form over South Andaman Sea around 29th November, after which it is likely to become more marked and move West NorthWestwards during subsequent 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the weather body also predicted that the minimum temperature (night temperature) in the state is very likely to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius during next two days. There will reportedly be no major change in temperature after that period.

For the next 24 hours, the MeT Centre forecast dry weather along with shallow to moderate fog which is very likely to occur at few places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri districts.
