There is likelihood of a low pressure area forming over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Andaman Sea in the next 48 hours. According to the Bhubaneswar Centre of the India Meteorological department, the low pressure area is likely to form as the cyclonic circulation over north Andaman Sea & neighbourhood persists.

The low pressure system is likely to move west-northwestwards and reach south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts during subsequent 24 hours. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over Coastal districts, while dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts.

Capital city Bhubaneswar is likely to witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm in the next 24 hours. The city is expected to experience maximum and minimum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
