As per the latest forecast by the Bhubaneswar centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclonic circulation over north Andaman Sea and neighbourhood is currently persisting. Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is very likely to form over the same region during next 48 hours.

The region is likely to become more marked and move West-North-Westwards towards south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts during subsequent 4-5 days, informed the IMD. Meanwhile, for the next 24 hours, the MeT Centre forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely at one or two places over the districts of Odisha.

However, the MeT Centre also issued a 'Yellow Warning' for thunderstorms with lightning which are likely to occur at few places over 5 districts of the state.

These districts are - Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada and Gajapati. Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar will likely experience party cloudy sky during this period, with maximum temperature around 34 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature around 25 degrees Celsius.
