With the ongoing withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some parts of Northwest India currently, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a 'Yellow Warning' in 15 districts of Odisha for the next 24 hours.

The MeT Centre forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers which are very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and also over some districts of Coastal Odisha. However, it also issued a 'Yellow Warning' predicting thunderstorm with lightning in 15 districts of Odisha starting from October 5th till October 6th morning.

These districts are - Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput, and Malkangiri.

Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar is likely to experience partly overcast sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorms. The capital city is likely to witness maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.
