The cyclonic circulation that was persisting over East Central Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood has turned into a low pressure area. The weather update was shared by the Bhubaneswar Centre of the India Meteorological Department through a tweet.
As per the Met centre, under the influence of yesterday's cyclonic circulation, a low pressure area has formed over East-central Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood.
The low pressure system is likely to move west north-westwards and reach south Odisha¬-north Andhra Pradesh coasts during next 24 hours.
The Director General Of IMD, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said that under its influence, Odisha is likely to experience rain and there is no likelihood of cyclone.
