Odisha is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall in many districts till November 16 under the influence of another low pressure this weekend.

As per the latest weather forecast by the Bhubaneswar centre of the India Meteorological Department, a fresh low pressure area is likely to form over south Andaman sea and neighbourhood around 13th November.

It is likely to move West North Westwards and become more marked in the subsequent 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the MeT centre has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers at a few places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput between November 11 and 12.

During the same period, there is probability of rainfall in some areas of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Puri.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts in Odisha. In the next 24 hours, Bhubaneswar is likely to experience partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder or lightning. The city would experience maximum 27 degrees Celsius and minimum 21 degrees Celsius during the period.
