Bhubaneswar IMD Director HR Biswas has shared the latest updates on cyclonic Storm ‘Jawad’. As per the forecast, the cyclonic storm is moving in north-northeast direction and will continue to move in that direction. In the last 6 hours, the cyclonic storm was moving at a speed of 15kmph but now it has increased. The storm is likely to reach Puri coast by Sunday (December 5) noon as a depression and is expected to move towards West Bengal coasts. Under its Influence, coastal districts of Odisha and adjoining interior districts are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall.
