Taking strong cognizance of the deadly train tragedy in Balasore, that took lives of at least 294 people and injured many hundreds, the National Human Rights Commission on Wednesday sought an Action Taking Report from the Chairman of Railway Board, Govt of India and Odisha Chief Secretary on the alleged violation of human rights of passengers due to negligence and failure of Railway Authorities.
