These shocking images are from Kottakuppam village in Tamil Nadu. A father-son duo was travelling in a scooter, which blew-up in a high-intensity explosion triggered by firecrackers on Thursday. The freak accident occurred when country-made firecrackers the duo had bought for Diwali celebrations exploded in the motorbike they were travelling. K.A Kalaniesan, 37, and his son Pradesh, 7 died on the spot. Three people were also severely injured in the blast.
