Business tycoon and ex-chairman of Tata Sons, Cyrus Mistry died in a road accident in Maharashtra's Palghar on Sunday (Sep 4). Mistry was travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in a Mercedes car, when it hit a divider. The accident took place on a bridge over the Surya river at around 3.15 pm, said Palghar district superintendent of police.
Of the three persons travelling with him, two have been shifted to a hospital in Gujarat in critical condition while another person succumbed to injuries. Cyrus Mistry’s body has been shifted to the Kasa Rural Hospital for post mortem.
