Sikkim Flood Fury: NDRF Team Intensifies Rescue Mission In Chungtang

National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) initiates rescue efforts in Chungtang Town of Sikkim’s Mangan district. After the flood devastation, North-Sikkim including Chungtang was cut off from rest of the world. The stranded town is now connected to other side of Teesta River through a temporary bamboo bridge. Along with NDRF Team, personnel involved in the Project Swastik of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) have also joined the rescue ops.
