A 7-year-old student lost his life in a tragic road accident in Srikakulam district on Wednesday. As per reports, the mishap took place when the school bus was returning to Etcherla after picking up the students. Suddenly, the vehicle lost its balance, overturned and plunged into the pond.
As many as 20 students were inside the bus when the mishap took place. One student was killed in the accident while eight are in critical condition. The locals rescued all the children and admitted them to a nearby hospital. On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
