Mandir set to be in January, the city has initiated preparations for lighting a staggering 24 lakh lamps on the auspicious festival of lights. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University made this announcement through a press release that reveals deployment of enthusiast volunteers to help and decorate 51 ghats for Ayodhya Deepostav. The prominent Ghats also include Ram ki Paidi and Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat. The authorities are also providing optimum space for symmetrical lighting of the diyas. Along with the lightening of diyas, a grand light and sound show has been staged at Ram ki Pairi Ghat to mark the beginning of the festivities. There will be more shows starting November 11 till November 13, and it will run for two hours in the evening.
