In a shocking event, one person was killed while 36 others sustained injuries in multiple explosions that were reported at a convention centre in Kalamassery near Kochi in Kerala on Sunday. Among the injured, the condition of seven persons is said to be critical. According to police, multiple explosions were reported from the spot where the meeting of Jehovah's Witness Believers was being held. The blast occurred at 9 a.m. The hall has been sealed and Kerala Police's Anti Terror Squad has reached the site. The deceased is a woman and her identity is yet to be acertained. All injured have been shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kalamassery. The reason behind the blast is yet to be ascertained. However, the investigation is underway.
