Kerala Floods: Many Dead As Incessant Rainfall Causes Landslides, Water logging

Heavy downpour has left many areas flooded in Kerala. Landslides triggered by rainfall in Idukki and Kottayam led to death of several persons. As per national media reports, more than 20 people have been killed and several are still missing. People have been stranded in many areas due to heavy water-logging.

The NDRF, and the Armed Forces have been pressed into service for rescue and relief operations.
