A large number of people in Tamil Nadu's Mettupalayam paid their homage to CDS Bipin Rawat, his wife and other defence personnel who were killed in the helicopter crash on Wednesday (Dec 8). The crowd showered flower petals when the mortal remains of CDS, his wife and other defense personnel passed through the streets.
Slogans of ‘Veera Vanakkam’ (salute to the Brave) and Bharat Mata Ki Jay reverberated as locals burst into tears seeing the convoy pass.
