Another twist has emerged in the sensational WhatsApp account hack case of Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Manoj Kumar Patnaik.

On Saturday (Dec 11) reports emerged that the third absconding accused in the case allegedly tried to cheat the Crime Branch ADG, Sanjeev Panda by seeking Rs 98,000 from him through two accounts.

However, the Crime Branch blocked both the accounts and launched a probe into the case. Crime Branch which is investigating this WhatsApp hacking case had found that the kingpin of the case was allegedly from Nigeria and his associates are active in different parts of the country.
