The health condition of veteran Ollywood actor Mihir Das is stated to be critical. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack. The actor was admitted to the hospital on December 7 after he complained of illness. He is right now on ventilator support while his condition is constantly being monitored by a group of doctors.
One of the doctors treating Mihir Das said that Das has been suffering from kidney ailments for the past few years following which he had undergone dialysis. Dialysis is going on and the best of treatment is being given, but it is difficult to predict the outcome and prognosis as he is still on ventilator and post-cardiac arrest state, the doctor said.
On the other hand, Mihir Das’ son Amlan said that his father’s condition is improving and sought blessings of people for a speedy recovery.
“As only 48 hours have passed, medicines have started to work and he has started to recover steadily. He has been suffering from kidney-related ailments for a long time, so adverse reaction was inevitable. It happens but he will come out of that. We seek love and blessings of all of you. Three years ago, he was diagnosed with kidney problems. As he was suffering from diabetes for last 25 years, complications were bound to happen in organs of the body, be it eye or kidney, and his kidney was affected” said Amlan.
