In a major success, Odisha Police on Monday (Oct 4), arrested the notorious burglar, Hemant Das, who was allegedly involved in more than 500 robberies over a span of 35 years.
As per reports, an active criminal since 1986, Hemant is also known as the 'Crowbar man', as he used a crowbar to break-in and execute his robberies. Police sources said that over a span of three decades, Hemant had amassed between Rs 4-5 Crore through his robberies.
However, Hemant's has reportedly spent all this money with meagre Rs 1400 left in his bank account currently.
Hemant, known for his lavish lifestyle and extravagant spending habits, spent all his money hopping one exotic destination to another across the country.
