Several Plus 2 students at Adarsh Vidyalaya in Kalahandi’s Kalampur locked up the school and staged protest on Wednesday (Dec 15) demanding appointment of more teachers. As per reports, the students studying in the Science stream alleged that despite reopening of the school for Plus 2 students, only one teacher has been present for the entire stream.
The students alleged that the lack of teachers has hampered their studies and despite repeated requests, the government has failed to take action in this case. The students have also threatened to agitate further if the government fails to pay heed to their request.
