In a shocking incident, some students studying at a coaching centre near Chapar area under Koraput Sadar Police limits alleged that they were brutally punished by their private tutor on Tuesday (Sept 21).
The students alleged that their teacher had attacked them using a metal rod. As per reports, the private tutor used to teach students after referring to subjects on YouTube. But, the students often used to complain about not being able to understand what was being taught to them.
However, on Tuesday, the irate private tutor allegedly took the students in a car and beat them black and blue using a metal rod. Later, a complaint was lodged at the Sadar Police Station and the students were shifted to the hospital for treatment. The accused private tutor is reportedly absconding.
Meanwhile, no response could be obtained from the coaching centre authorities.
