In a bid to facilitate storage of Covid-19 vaccines, a B.Tech student from Odisha has created the smallest functional refrigerator. This innovation has landed him in the India Book of Records.

And he has achieved this astounding feat by spending just Rs 1,135. Kamal Kishore Majhi, a resident of Bhadrak district has created this refrigerator in view of storing the vaccines in low temperature and providing a cheaper storage alternative.

The refrigerator can completely freeze water in about an hour and is useful in storing medicines. This innovation is expected to be helpful for people in rural areas as it can be charged with 12 volts where there is dearth of electricity.

Kamal’s family members are proud of his innovation and hope that this could help people in near future.
