Odisha Couple, 2 daughters Found Dead In Mysterious Circumstances

A day after the bodies of a woman and her two minor daughters were recovered from their house, the body of her husband was reportedly recovered from a nearby well on Thursday (Sept 23).

The incident has been reported from Fatak Pada in Brajrajnagar Town of Jharsuguda district. As per sources, the family members of the deceased woman identified the body recovered from the well to be that of the husband of the deceased woman.

Earlier on Wednesday (Sept 22), the bodies of Soni Poddar along with her two minor daughters were recovered from their house. However, her husband identified as Narayan Poddar was assumed to be absconding.

The relatives of the deceased woman and children had alleged her husband to be the accused citing marital discord between the couple over some family dispute. It is pertinent to mention that the police have detained the deceased woman's brother-in-law in the case.

After receiving information, the police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the four deaths.
