New Version Of ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ By Odisha IPS Officer Has A Message For All

When it comes to public awareness through music, IPS officer Sarah Sharma is a familiar face in Odisha. The Vigilance SP recently sung a new version of the popular Sinhala song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ to reach masses for a purpose.

Interestingly, Sharma has completely changed the lyrics of the original song and spun her own rendition. Because of its popularity, the officer creatively used the song, originally sung by Yohani, to raise awareness to avoid corruption and bribery.

Earlier, Sarah had lent her voice for the song ‘Narira Suraksha Pain Neichhu Pana’ against eve-teasing in the state.
