Large Gatherings At Ravenshaw University & Pallishree Mela Raise Concerns

These images are from the Annual Athletic Meet held at Ravenshaw Universitys campus. The meet saw a huge gathering of students and teachers. Similar scenes were also witnessed at Pallishree Mela' held at Khallikote University ground in Berhampur.

While social-distancing was not maintained, many were also seen without masks. This comes as Odisha reported 2 more cases of Omicron variant on Thursday taking total tally to 4. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had earlier urged everyone to follow the COVID-appropriate behavior.
