High Intensity Explosion Rips Through House Injuring 8-Year-Old

An eight-year-old boy was critically injured due to a powerful explosion that damaged a house on Thursday (October 7). The incident took place at Medinipur village of Ganjam district.

The victim identified as Vivekananda was initially admitted to the Kodala Community Health Centre (CHC). As his condition deteriorated, he was later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
