This giant python was rescued in Chitrakonda area in Malkangiri. Reports said that this python was first spotted in the backyard of a house in the area. Then a snake catcher was called for help, who rushed to the spot and rescued the reptile.
After inspection, the snake was found to be around 8-feet-long and 12 kilograms in weight! The snake was later released into its natural habitat.
