Baby Elephant Stuck In Water Rescued & Reunited With Herd

An elephant calf got stuck in an inundated agri field in Athmallik Forest Division of Angul. A heard of around 15 elephants had entered the area & the calf was somehow separated & got stuck. After spotting the elephant calf, the villagers called the Forest officials. Later the Athamallik DFO and other forest officials reached the spot and rescued the calf & left it in the forest with the herd.
