It can't be denied that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on people's lives, work, jobs, and almost every aspect of life. After the sudden outbreak of the Covid pandemic last year, hundreds of companies were forced to adopt remote work or the work from home policy to continue businesses.

Pandemic or no pandemic, it seems the WFH culture is here to stay for long. It has been over a year and half now since the pandemic struck India and employees and employers have gotten hold of this remote work policy.

Several companies even said the whole work-from-home concept has many benefits, which is why they are now planning to make this concept permanent. Currently, there are many big companies across India that are still allowing work from home and are likely to extend the culture.

The big companies that are continuing work from home for employees include - Hospitality major OYO, world’s largest online retailer Amazon, IT behemoth Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Seattle-based technology giant Microsoft, IT major Infosys, Social media giants Twitter, Facebook, software firms IBM India and Salesforce, and some other companies such as Razorpay and Spotify.

Well, the work from home practice has gradually become a norm for many companies. And if it continues post-pandemic and businesses continue to grow simultaneously, it is going to be a win-win scenario for both employees and employers.
