And, it seems fans are going to be on one emotional ride after watching the trailer. After 12 years, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande's popular TV serial 'Pavitra Rishta' is making its comeback with a new season - Pavitra Rishta 2. And this time, Ankita Lokhande reprises her role as Archana like before, and Shaheer Sheikh is essaying the role of Manav in 'Pavitra Rishta 2'- a character once played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On Wednesday, Actress Ankita Lokhande shared the trailer of Pavitra Rishta 2 on social media.
Sharing the trailer, Ankita wrote: "Between love and family, what Archana and Manav will chose?” Giving fans goosebumps, the trailer of Pavitra Rishta 2 begins with Archana walking on the rail bridge, thinking about her mother's approach for her marriage. The trailer also showed Archana-Manav's meeting after looking at each other’s pictures on the phone and falling in love with each other at first sight and agreeing to get married. But, their love story takes a dramatic turn on their wedding day, when Manav’s reality comes to the fore, leading Archana’s family to call off the wedding. However, the trailor is going to give fans ‘goosebumps for sure.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Ankita Lokhande said that she received lots of love from the audience for Archana's character. She also said that she is grateful to Ekta Kapoor and ZEE for reviving Pavitra Rishta and for having faith in her again.
Meanwhile, a national media (Indian Express) quoted the actress as saying that Sushant would have been very happy about the new show. Ankita also recalled the last day of the shoot of Pavitra Rishta when Sushant came to meet the team. Pavitra Rishta 2.0 will be streamed on Zee5 on September 15.
