Regular Matric Exam
In a major confusion during the offline matriculation examination at a centre in Cuttack, at least 20 students had to appear for the exam twice for two different sets of questions on Tuesday. Several students appearing for the annual high school certificate (HSC) offline examinations received ex-regular question papers of 2014.
Such lapses were reported from the centre at Board High School in Cuttack. After noticing the error, the students brought it to the notice of the invigilator who later gave the regular question papers to the students.
Meanwhile, the headmaster of the Board High School maintained that the error in distribution of the question paper was immediately fixed and that the students didn’t face any issue.
At least 15,155 students who were dissatisfied with the marks awarded to them through an alternative assessment system in the matric examination opted for offline examinations. The examinations began on July 30 and will conclude on August 5.
