As many as 15,155 students have filled up application forms to appear for offline matriculation exams scheduled from July 30 till August 5. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha informed that around 6,596 students have applied to appear for annual HSC exams, 8,493 for State Open School certificate exams and 66 have applied for Madhyama examination. As per the Board's earlier announcement, the application process ended on 14 while no fees has been taken from the students for the same. Take a look at the exam schedule and pattern for regular and ex-regular students. The First language will be conducted on July 30, followed by the Second Language on July 31. Mathematics exam is scheduled for August 2, Science on August 3, Social Science on August 4 and Third Language is on August 5. The BSE has informed that the Matric exams for both regular and ex-regular students will be held simultaneously in one sitting from 10 AM till 12 PM. According to the offline exam schedule, the question pattern will be the same for regular and ex-regular students in first language, second language, and third language. The pattern would also be the same for mathematics paper. The students will be provided extra 15 minutes during mathematics examination. However, there will be separate question papers for regular and ex-regular students in general science and social science subjects. It is pertinent to mention that the CHSE decided to hold offline exams following allegations by several students and parents that the Board has assessed students incorrectly after implementation of the Alternate Assessment Method. The offline exams is for those students who were not satisfied with their published results and have filed in fresh applications.
