You can't escape certain things. Death is one of them. In a tragic incident, a man bringing his wife’s dead body from hospital to their village, was killed in a road mishap near Jhulenbar under Patnagarh Police Limits on Wednesday (June 2).
The deceased has been identified as Bipan Sethi of Lurki village under Turekela block in Bolangir district. As per reports, Bipan’s wife Saibani passed away late last night while undergoing treatment for paralysis at Burla Hospital. This morning, Bipan decided to bring her body back home in an ambulance for her last rites.
However, the ambulance hit a roadside tree on the way, and Bipan was killed on the spot. A pall of gloom descended on the village after the family lost two members within a span of a few hours. While the ambulance driver is absconding, Patnagarh Police has launched an investigation into the case.
